Ahoy Mates
Not the start we were looking for, but we are on our way. Let me catch you up to what has been going on.
On the 29th we arrive at the boat after going to lunch me with Chantyl and Kinsley and jeff with his mom and Andy. Bob and Sue stopped by. Jeff goes into the engine room to do our pre-check… yup – oil under port engine. On the 30th we did a service call that lasted over 7 hours. Decision was made to stay put and start in the morning. So to kill time we took our battery operated scooters out for a tour, had dinner, and went to bed.
On the 31st we pushed off our dock at 6 a.m. and off we went. 11 hours and 101 miles. Drink spilled in the navigation station, the cat threw up, the dingy ropes broke 10 miles off shore, and the shampoo & conditioner fell in the cat box on a fresh turd. What can you do but laugh. Pulled into Sandwich marina, docked, fixed the dingy and off to dinner we went.
Pilot house- highly recommend Nori Sushi tacos, fish tacos, and Lobster corn Chowder.
Mavis went out on the leash for an adventure threw the marina.
Today June 1st we went threw Cape Cod Canal, Buzards Bar and stopped at Sea Fuel in New Bedford MA for Diesel $3.30 gallon includes tax w/ boatus discount.
Tonight we plan on anchoring somewhere near Point Judith. Grilling dinner. Pork Loin, corn, salad and pickled beets…
Living the dash. (Dash is the time between being born – and passing away)
